Robots, code camps, and 980 young learners
Iligan grew fast in 2025, with a major increase in both events and volunteers across 18 events.
The chapter ran a Women’s Month mBots and micro:bits series, a Sumo and Soccer Bots Tournament with LGU Iligan, an ICT Month code camp series, a Code for Climate micro:bits series, and an outreach for 400 students at Kalamalahan Elementary School with DICT. Its 8 Hour of AI sessions reached 980 learners across 7 schools.

Hour of AI with DEVCON Kids
Part of the nationwide Hour of AI and micro:bit robotics sessions for public school students. Iligan reached 980 learners across 7 schools, plus a Sumo and Soccer Bots Tournament with the LGU.
