Resilient, and the first to tackle cybersecurity
Cebu organized 15 activities and co-organized 9 more in 2025, regularizing its Geekups and running the first cybersecurity event across all DEVCON chapters.
The chapter secured an MOU with the DepEd Cebu City Schools Division for Catch Codey, its Hour of AI program, and is in talks with the Cebu Provincial Government on a Cebu tech community body. After an earthquake and two typhoons, the Hour of AI still went ahead at San Jose Elementary School once the school confirmed students were ready.
